Hillary Quinn is a lifestyle writer whose articles have been published in dozens of national magazines, newspapers, and internet sites. In addition to working on individual assignments, she has also been a regular columnist for Bride’s magazine.
Hillary began her career as a college intern at Working Woman magazine, and later joined the staff as a full-time editorial assistant. She went on to hold key positions at McCall’s, Elle, and eventually Mademoiselle, where Hillary was named Copy and Special Projects Director, responsible for producing and editing all lifestyle/service content in the magazine. Today, as a freelancer, she writes and edits for a wide variety of national magazines and web clients, works on long-term editorial projects, and does regular television appearances and speaking engagements.
From showing readers how they can stand their ground with a bullying boss…to offering clever strategies for teaching a kid to tie their own shoelaces…or finding novel reasons to sing the praises of a pink lipstick…Hillary loves to focus on topics that improve readers’ everyday lives.
She lives with her husband, son, and daughter, in Woodway, WA—a beautiful waterfront suburb of Seattle that’s only one click away from the other city in her heart… New York. You can email her at hillary@hillaryquinn.com; clips of her work are available at www.hillaryquinn.com.
